K: Please introduce yourself!
T: My name is Tiara Skinner.
K: Describe yourself in your own words
T: I’m an extrovert. I love vibrant experiences and have a spontaneous spirit! In my heart of hearts, I believe the world is meant to be felt and experienced in its totality. I have an infinite capacity to love and be loved.
K: What is your favorite thing about yourself?
T: My favorite thing about myself is the ability to believe in myself. I believe that I can do and be anything that I put my mind, time, and effort into. Failure isn't an option. My options are limitless and that's because I allow them to be.
K: What is one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
T: If I could give my younger self advice it would be to trust yourself and reach for the stars that were aligned for you. Your dreams should be higher than any ladder could ever reach. So reach for them until you succeed and conquer. After that reach for a new star! Whatever happens, you don't stop.
K: What does being a woman mean to you?
T: Being a woman means being powerful, courageous, assertive, and accepting yourself for the beauty God created in its entirety.
K: Who is one woman that inspires you? What would you say to her if she were here now?
T: The one woman that inspires me is my mother. She passed away in 08’ from metastatic breast cancer when I was 27 years old. She was my best friend if that could ever be possible. Her desire to take care of her family was nothing short of astounding. She was the softest spoken person that rarely showed an unfavorable vibe. She was full of life and died chasing her goals. If she was still here I would tell her how proud I am of her and how her grace inspires me to have a little for myself.
