K: Please introduce yourself!
P: Hi, I am Phoebe Fung, an actor in Hong Kong who mainly works on stage. Also, I am a yoga instructor.
K: Describe yourself in your own words
P: I am a pet lover who is passionate, strong minded, self-driven, funny and sensitive. I love to talk with others and I think sharing happiness with the world is my life purpose.
K: What is your favorite thing about yourself?
P: I am curious. And being curious brings a lot of excitement into my life and being able to see new worlds and possibilities that are normally not visible.
K: Tell us a story. Have you had an experience that has defined you or made you stronger?
P: Absolutely the house floods ...hahaha…..
There was a night when I arrived home late, I took my first step into my house...awwww… I really wanted to scream, however, I had to solve the problem at once because I needed to travel the next morning. It was a really bad situation, and I even couldn’t find where the water source was from. However, I arranged all the stuff in just three hours, packed my luggage for travelling, and got a place for me and my cat to stay in. Also, I negotiated with the workers while I was working on board.
K: What is one piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
P: There’s a lot of things that may upset you without your control, however, take a deep breath and take it easy, because you are strong enough to deal with it more than you thought.
K: What does being a woman mean to you?
P: I think being a woman means you’re complex, strong and valuable. To be loving and nurturing towards others whilst not forgetting loving yourself and embracing who you are.
K: Who is one woman that inspires you? What would you say to her if she were here now?
P: My mom, she’s my role model.
“Mom, you are the only one who can really understands me and ease my pain in the toughest days of my life. You have a kind heart and you’re the strongest person that I know. Thank you for your love.”
