P: Please introduce yourself!

J: My name is Jaclyn, Im a lucky first time mum to the most beautiful baby girl Harper - who is about to turn 1 at the end of January, and have an amazing Partner Shane - we’ve been together just over 2 years! What a whirl wind! I am also the National Commercial Manager of the largest fruit & vegetable wholesalers in Australia.

P: Describe or define yourself in your own words.

J: I like to think I GSD (get shit done), I’m relentless and tenacious especially with work. I’m committed and absolutely adore my family and do my best to not let the many balls that are in the air drop, I hate letting people down.

P: What is your favourite thing about yourself?

J: How much I love I have for my baby, it’s still so new and fresh to me. The strong sense of accomplishment, love and admiration I have for this little person still blows my mind.

P: Tell us a story, what's an experience that has defined you or made you stronger?

J: Over the last 2 years I’ve done a lot of self work. Especially on how I talk to myself about myself. I know it may sound strange but it’s easy to tell others how amazing they are, but we don’t often tell ourselves.

Working on this allowed me to revisit some of the big challenges I’ve faced, how it impacted me and how to better manage my negative self talk. The catalyst working on myself was falling pregnant and wanting to be the best version of myself for Harper.

I’ve had many experiences, some amazing and some very traumatic - they’ve all made me who I am. But I didn’t really know myself until recently and that has made me the strongest I have ever been, both physically and mentally.

P: What is one piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?

J: Life gets better so don’t be scared of being off the shelf or settling for anything less than you’re worth.

P: What does being a woman mean to you?

J: It’s a honour being a woman, we are strong creatures who are always ready to get the job done (what ever it may be). We never stop even though we should allow ourselves too. And even when we feel like we’re failing we continue on.

P: Who is one woman that inspires you? What would you say to her if she were here now?

J: God the things I would say to my mum knowing now what I know as a mum myself. We lost her to Breast Cancer coming up 10 years. She was so selfless and just gave all she had to everyone else. She has always been my inspiration even before she passed. I would tell her it’s not selfish to put herself first, be happy and still give to others. You don’t need to feel guilty for that...ever.

Everywhere I travel, I take some of her ashes, I spend time at a beach or stunning location and share her with the world!

She is in Hawaii, South Africa, Byron Bay, Darwin, Perth, Broad Beach, Cairns.
