Beth is an eclectic entrepreneur who has made major strides in the food & beverage industry as a small business owner and whisky maven. Her expertise in the whisky world stem from over two decades of experience in this field — running tastings, sampling products, and hosting pairings, all while connecting with and educating others along the way. Her passionate and innovative approach also extends into her baking business, Aunt Beth Bakes, where she utilizes whisky as an ingredient for her gourmet cookies. K: What is your favorite thing about yourself?
B: My sense of humour.
K: Tell us a story. Have you had an experience that’s defined you or made you stronger?
B: Starting my own business. Navigating all of the ups and downs. I’ve learned so much about myself and entrepreneurship.

B: Don’t be so hard on yourself - everything is going to be just fine.
K: What does being a woman mean to you?
B: I think that has evolved over time. As a woman I feel strong yet vulnerable, kind but know when I’m being taken advantage of and determined yet okay to make mistakes.

K: Who is one woman that inspires you? What would you say to her if she were here now?
B: My mother is my all time hero. She is the kindest person I know and has taught me all I know. I tell her all the time how much she inspires me and if I’m even a fraction of her I’m truly lucky.
